We just returned from a great vacation in San Diego.
The big delimma when planning the trip, was "what to do with Bijou. Of course, we wanted to take her, but we have never traveled with a dog. After a little research, we decided she was going with us. We found a great hotel, Hyatt Mission Bay. They welcome dogs 50 pounds and under. There is a $100.00 fee, but the location is great, the grounds are beautiful and there were 3 pools for my daughter. Bijou was even allowed to hang out at the pool area with us.
We also located a Dog Daycare called Camp Run-A-Mutt. They let the dogs run around free all day. It was very clean, friendly, close to the hotel and reasonably
priced. The best part, is they have a camera, so you can check in on your dog during the day. Bijou spent one day there.
San Diego is very dog friendly, we were able to take Bijou to most of the site seeing places. She was out and about a lot. Lucky for us, she came home 100% potty trained! :)
I wish I had taken more pictures along the way. Bijou meet a friend at the hotel, another Cockapoo named Molly. They played together for a bit by the pool. Sorry, no pictures :(.
